It's been all hands on deck, as Shelly Centre's multi-million rand voyage to a fresh, modern, new look reaches its final destination!
For 30 years Shelly Centre has been the shopping destination of choice for loyal locals and visitors to the beautiful South Coast. Shoppers enjoy a relaxed and convenient shopping experience where they can access all the top fashion and beauty brands, shoe stores, department stores, home and décor stores and more. Shelly Centre is also the central gathering point for people to meet over coffee, catch a movie or enjoy a meal with the whole family.
This year, Shelly Centre embarked on an exciting voyage to get the centre looking ship-shape from bow to stern. We employed the services of a professional project management team with an experienced construction crew implementing each phase. The refurbishment process has been a resounding success with the construction proceeding one zone at a time and the bulk of the work taking place in the evenings to minimise the noise and inconvenience to tenants and shoppers. In addition to all the exciting changes inside the centre, the exterior also got a makeover of its own – shoppers now enter the centre via revamped entrance foyers and facades, making for a grand entrance into the refreshed, modernised centre.

The refurbishment, which is now complete, included the following exciting improvements:
